Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Pipe cleaners
- Markers
- Glue stick
- Scissors
- Printable template (click the “click here to get this freebie” image at the end to open the form)
Directions
Start by downloading the template and printing it out. Once you have the template printed, gather the materials needed for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this idea to life!
First, encourage your child to glue the eyes just above the smile in order to leave room for the cap.
Next, guide your child to place the paper acorn top just above the eyes and glue it in place.
Now, help your child to take a black marker and make scallop marks along the cap.
Take two pipe cleaners and cut them in half. Take one half and bend the end to make three fingers for the hand. Repeat on the other side. Make the feet by looping around one end into a foot shape.
Finally, flip the little guy over and tape the arms to the sides and the legs to the bottom of the acorn.

Materials

Instructions
- Download the acorn template, print, and cut out the pieces you'll use for this craft.
