- Astronaut template (click the “click here to get your freebies” image at the end of the post)
Directions
Start by downloading and printing the template. Once it’s printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this astronaut to life!

First, guide your child to glue the eyes on the face, above the nose.

Use a marker to draw on some hair just above the eyes.

Take the face and glue it to the face outline piece.

Next, help your child to take these pieces and glue them to the middle of the helmet.

Glue the helmet rotators to the back and each side of the helmet.

Create the suit by gluing the suit decoration to the middle and upper part of the body.

Place the boots at the bottom of the body and glue them in place.

Position the leg connects at the top of the leg line and glue it down.

Now, take the completed body and glue it to the base of the brown paper bag.

Next, glue the completed helmet to the flap portion of the brown bag.

Place the arms on either side of the paper bag and glue them to the inside of the side flaps.

Finally, encourage your child to glue the arm connectors to the innermost part of the arms.
