For lots of kids, Valentine’s Day means candy, crafts, and fun heart-themed activities!

This bear Valentine craft is a fun way for kids to express themselves.

To make the craft, kids just need a few supplies: construction paper, scissors, glue, and our free template. Use any color you want for the hearts!

If kids are young, help them to cut out the pieces and glue them on. And if kids are older, have them do it themselves!

It’s a fun kids’ craft for Valentine’s Day that is great for preschool, kindergarten, and elementary children.

Easy V-Day Craft

Supplies

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Markers
  • Bear template (enter your email in the form at the end of this post to have the link sent to you)

Directions

Download the bear template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

Begin to make the bear’s face by gluing the inner ears to each of the outer ears.

Take the eyes and glue them, one on each side, to the head.

Place the nose and mouth just below the eyes and glue them to the middle of the head.

Next, place the cheeks outside of the nose and mouth and below the eyes.

Use a dark brown marker to draw on eyebrows above each eye.

Position the heart on the lower portion of the bear’s head so it’s overlapping the bottom of it and glue it in place.

Finish off the craft by gluing the arms, one on each side, to the sides of the heart.

Materials
