With just a few materials and our easy-to-follow steps, kids can transform the humble paper bag into a cool dinosaur that they can personalize.

Kids will love bringing their favorite prehistoric creatures to life by combining crafting and imaginative play.

  • Brown paper bag
  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Dinosaur template (enter your email in the form at the end of this post to get the template)

Directions

Download the dinosaur template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

Begin by gluing the head to the flap portion of the brown paper bag.

Take the eyes and glue them underneath each of the eyebrows.

Next, take the beak and glue it so it slightly overlaps the bottom of the eyes.

Glue the body piece to the main portion of the brown bag.

Place the belly in the middle of the body and glue it in place.

Position the top of the wing on the top of the wing piece and glue it in place. Repeat for the other wing.

Finish up by gluing the wings inside both sides of the paper bag.
