Dinosaurs are a favorite topic for kids of all ages. They’re fun, unique, and kids can learn so much from them.

This dinosaur tissue paper craft is one of our favorites because it’s simple enough for kids to do independently but fun enough that parents will want to join in too!

With this dinosaur craft, kids can create their own colorful dinosaurs to display at home or in the classroom.

Colorful Dinosaur Craft

Supplies

• Colored cardstock or construction paper
• Tissue paper
• Glue
• Scissors
• Dinosaur template (enter your email in the form at the end of this post to have the link sent to you)

Directions

Download the dinosaur template and print it out on colored paper.

Spread some glue along the dinosaur in small sections, then crumple up the tissue paper and glue it down. Use one color for the dinosaur’s body and another color for the dinosaur’s wings.

Once the tissue paper is covering all of the dinosaur, take the eye and glue it in the middle of the dinosaur’s head.

Next, glue the beak to the left side of the dinosaur’s head.

Place the cheek below and slightly to the right of the eye and glue it in place.

Use scissors to trim off the bottom of the paper.

That’s it! Isn’t this so colorful and fun?!
