Easy Disguise a Turkey Mermaid Craft

Your little mermaids will love to create this disguise to make their turkeys look like graceful swimmers. This is a great turkey disguise project to create together this holiday to work on your child’s fine motor skills, following directions, and using their big imaginations.
Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Mermaid turkey template (unlock the free template at the end of the post)
How To Disguise A Turkey As A Mermaid
Start by downloading the template and printing it out. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this turkey disguise to life!
First, guide your child to glue the bangs to the top of the turkey’s body, then glue the main hair piece to the back of the turkey’s head.
Take the mermaid’s tail and glue it to the bottom of the turkey’s body.
Next, help your child to glue the seashells on the top part of the turkey’s body.
Place the snood in the middle of the head, just below the eyes, and glue it in place.
Glue the beak on top of the snood.
Finally, encourage your child to glue the mermaid to the blue feathers.
