How To Make Forky Craft [Super Easy!]

Learn how to make Forky, the spork toy, just like Bonnie in Toy Story 4!

Who can ever get enough Disney in their lives?!

The Toy Story movies are full of fun characters, but today, we’re sharing how to make one of the newest members of the crew, Forky!

If you haven’t seen Toy Story 4, you might be wondering who is Forky.

Forky is a simple little toy Bonnie makes in the movie from a spork and some craft supplies. Everyone seems to think since he’s a spork his name should be Sporky, but that’s not what Bonnie decided to name him, so Forky it is!

She loves him and brings him home to become one of her new toys! Your kids will definitely want a homemade Forky of their own, so check out these easy directions.

Read on below to see how you can make a homemade Forky with your child or student! Also, be sure to check out all of our fun Toy Story 4 crafts for kids.

What Do You Need To Make Forky?

In order to make Forky, you’ll need the following supplies:

  • White spork
  • Adhesive googly eyes
  • Pipe cleaners
  • Popsicle sticks
  • White clay
  • Rainbow stickers
  • Wikki Stix
  • Teal marker
  • Red marker
  • Scissors

How To Make A Forky Directions

Cut your popsicle stick in half and use the teal marker to write Bonnie or your child’s name on the bottom of the popsicle sticks.

Take a small chunk of modeling clay and make it into a volcano shape.

Stick the craft stick halves onto the underside of the clay with Forky’s feet angled outward a bit on a flat surface.

Use a blue Wikki Stix to make Forky’s mouth and press it on the back of the spork. In this example, we made him surprised, but you can make it a smile or anything you want.

Use a red Wikki Stix on Forky’s face to make his eyebrows.

Choose 2 different sized adhesive googly eyes and attach them to the middle of the spork.

Take the bottom of the spork and press it into the top of the clay volcano.

Next, we’re going to learn how to make Forky’s arms. Wrap your red pipe cleaner around the handle of the spork. Shape the ends of the pipe cleaner to make 3 fingers on each side.

Color the sides of Forky’s mouth with a marker then dab it with your finger to blur the marker and give him rosy cheeks.

Place your rainbow sticker on the edge of one foot.

Now you have your very own DIY Forky!

The great thing about using Wikki Stix is they’re endlessly repositionable so your kids can change Forky’s facial features as many times as they want! You can also use different colors to truly customize your kid’s new favorite toy.

After we made our first Forky, we made him a friend who we called Sporky, because shouldn’t that really be the correct name???

Your kids will have so much fun making their own Forky toy at home.

Just like the real Forky, he’s slightly fragile until the clay hardens so make sure your kids don’t play too rough with him.
