Festive Elf Popsicle Stick Craft [With Template]

When you think of Christmas, so many wonderful things come to mind. From Santa to presents, to reindeer, and more!

But perhaps one of the most fun things are silly little elves! Everyone loves their cheerful nature so we’re bringing that to you with this festive elf popsicle stick craft.

It’s another Christmas craft that’s easy and is a fun way to spend some quality time with the kids.

Supplies

• Popsicle sticks
• Permanent glue dots or hot glue
• Paint
• Paintbrush
• Colored cardstock
• Pink and red pom pom
• Black marker
• Elf craft stick template (enter your email in the form at the end of this post to have the link emailed to you)

Directions

Download the elf craft template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

Take 4 popsicle sticks and place them side by side. Cut 2 popsicle sticks into thirds. Stretch a glue dot onto the back of each of the short popsicle sticks, then use them to attach the 4 popsicle sticks together. Repeat this for the top, middle, and bottom of the 4 popsicle sticks.

Flip the 4 popsicle sticks over and paint about 2/3 of it in the skin colored paint. Paint the remaining 1/3 in a bright green paint. Let dry completely.

Assemble the elf’s hat by gluing the hat trim to the bottom of the hat. Take the red pom pom and glue it to the tip of the hat.

Glue the completed elf hat to the top of the elf’s head.

Place the eyes slightly below the hat and glue them in place. Use the black marker to draw on a smile just a bit below his eyes.

Take the pink pom pom and glue it just between the eyes.

Glue the elf’s shirt trim where the skin colored paint and the green paint meet.
