Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Glue
- Scissors
- Markers
- Guinea pig card template (click the “click here to get this freebie” image at the end to open the form)
Directions
Start by downloading the guinea pig card template and printing it out. Once you have the template printed, gather the materials needed for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this guinea pig card template to life!
First, guide your child to fold the guinea pig head along the dashed line, then carefully cut it out, ensuring to leave the top fold intact.
Next, place the guinea pig’s mouth on the card and glue it to the bottom of the card base.
Encourage your child to take the nose and glue it to the top of the mouthline.
Now, position the cheeks above the piece you glued on in the previous step.
Glue the eyes above the cheeks and secure them in place.
Create the ears by gluing the inner ears to the lower portion of the outer ears, trimming off any excess paper.
Now, take the completed ears and glue them to the top and back of the guinea pig’s head.
Position the completed head and glue it to the top, right part of the body.
Lastly, open the card and write a sweet message inside!

This easy guinea pig Mother's Day card craft is perfect for kids to make for Mother's Day.
Materials

Instructions
