- Scissors
- Glue
- Pencil
- White out pen
- Vampire template
Directions
Start by downloading the template and printing it out. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this vampire to life!
First, guide your child to glue the hair to the top of the head.
Glue each of the eyes, one on each side, just under the eyebrows.
Trace your child’s hand two times on a red piece of paper and cut the handprints out. Arrange the handprints with the fingers up and glue the ends of them together, so they’re slightly overlapping. This is the top part of the vampire’s cloak.
Next, help your child glue the head to the lower part of the handprint cloak.
Take the shirt collar piece and glue it to the back and bottom of the vampire’s head.
Place the bowtie in the middle of the shirt and glue it in place.
Optional: Finish up the vampire by encouraging your child to draw two fangs onto the bottom of the mouth with the white paint pen.
That’s it! Your child’s very own handprint vampire is now complete. Hang it up and enjoy! If your kiddo loved this craft, check out these cute handprint crafts for kids, too!
