Supplies

Directions

Download the penguin template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

Begin by gluing the belly to the middle of the penguin’s body.

Take the eyes and glue them to the top, black part of the penguin’s body.

Next, glue the beak in between the eyes.

Attach the top of an eggshell just above the head.

Take the eggshell and glue it to the bottom of the penguin’s body.

Next, glue the arms, one on each side, to the penguin’s body.

Position the feet in the middle of the eggshell so it looks like they’re popping out of the egg. Glue them in place.

Hatching Penguin Craft For Kids

Our hatching penguin craft is a whimsical paper creation where kids create a baby penguin emerging from its shell!

Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Penguin Template

Instructions

  • Download the penguin template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin by gluing the belly to the middle of the penguin’s body.
  • Take the eyes and glue them to the middle of the head.
  • Next, glue the beak in between and just below the eyes.
  • Attach the top of the eggshell to the top of the head.
  • Take the bottom eggshell and glue it to the bottom of the penguin’s body.
  • Next, glue the arms, one on each side, to the penguin’s body.
  • Position the feet in the middle of the eggshell holes so it looks like they’re popping out of the egg. Glue them in place.
