Ice Cream Paper Craft
It’s super simple to create this activity! There are only a few steps and not a lot of cutting.
This makes it great for making with preschool, pre-k, and kindergarten children. Download the free printable template and make it at home, at daycare, or in the classroom.
Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Black marker
- Glue stick
- Scissors
- Ice Cream template (click the “click here to get your freebie” image at the end of the post)
Directions
Start by downloading and printing the template. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this ice cream to life!

First, encourage your child to take the melting top part of the ice cream and glue it to the top of the ice cream base. Trim off any excess paper.

Next, guide your child to grab the eyes and glue them in the center of the ice cream, just below the drip marks.

Now, help your child to use the black marker to draw a small smile just beneath the eyes.

Finally, place the ice cream stick on the bottom of the ice cream base and glue it to the backside.
