Directions

Start by downloading the kangaroo template and printing it out. Once you have the template printed, gather the materials needed for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this kangroo to life!

First, encourage your child to glue the inner ears to the center of the outer ear.

Next, help your child to glue the eyes below the eyebrows.

Position the cheeks below the eyes and glue them in place.

Guide your child to glue the body of the kangaroo to the main portion of the brown paper bag.

Place the belly to the center of the body and glue it in place.

Now, attach the pouch to the bottom of the belly and only glue the sides down so the pouch appears open.

Next, glue the arms to the front and side of the belly.

Place the feet in the middle of the bag and the side of the body and glue them in place.

Now, help your child glue the tail to the middle of the bag and the side of the body.

Finally, glue the completed head to the flap portion of the brown paper bag.

Instructions

  2. Begin by gluing the inner ears to the center of the outer ear.
  3. Next, glue the eyes below the eyebrows.
  4. Position the cheeks below the eyes and glue them in place.
  5. Glue the body to the main portion of the brown bag.
  6. Place the belly to the center of the body and glue it in place.
  7. Now, attach the pouch to the bottom of the belly and only glue the sides so it looks like the pouch is open.
