This craft is super easy and perfect for decorating, giving as gifts, or having fun.

There are many ways to do it, but most used are construction paper, markers, and whatever craft supplies you have to give your normal minion a leprechaun makeover.

Doing this with a bunch of kids? No worries! Construction paper works just fine if card stock isn’t in the budget.

We’ve even got a free template you can download to make things even easier. So basically, all you need is a few simple supplies and a dash of creativity, and you’ll be crafting up a storm in no time!

Supplies

• Colored card stock or construction paper
• White card stock
• Markers
• Scissors
• Glue stick
• Leprechaun minion template (click the “click here to get this freebie” image at the end to open the form)

Directions

To get started, let’s download the template together. Once you’ve printed it, have your kids grab the scissors and carefully cut out all the different parts, spreading them out on a big table to prepare them for assembly.

Now, with all the pieces cut out, it’s time to bring this minion to life. Let your kid grab the overalls and spread some glue on the back. Carefully, they’ll place it at the bottom of the minion body, making sure those cute little pant legs are dangling off just right.

Next up, boots! These minions must be ready, so let your kid get those boots in place. Flip the minion’s body over and glue the boots behind the pant legs.

Time for some arms! Help your kid find the perfect spot on either side of the body, just below the overall straps. A little glue on the back, and voilà, our minion can now wave hello!

Beard time! This is what gives minions that special leprechaun touch. Guide your kids to spread glue on the back of the beard and press it onto the body under the minion’s smile. Make sure it’s centered so it looks extra dapper.

Now for the fun part—making his goggles! Take the white eyepiece and glue it onto the gray goggle part.

Next, grab the brown iris (the colored part in the center of the eye) and plop it right in the middle of the white eye. Glue it down to hold it in place.

It’s time to bring this minion to life! Using a black marker, let your kids draw a tiny black dot for the pupil.

Almost done! Have your kid put the goggle straps on either side of the minion’s head, like a headband. Glue them in place, then pop the finished goggles in the middle of the straps.
