To get started with this frosty activity, gather just a handful of supplies, and we’ve got you covered with a free, downloadable snowman template that makes this DIY even easier.
Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- White acrylic paint marker or Bold & Bright markers (optional)

Directions
Start by downloading the snowman template and printing it out. Once you have the template printed, gather the materials needed for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this snowman to life!
First, guide your child to glue the water onto the bottom of the colored paper.
Next, encourage your child to glue the snowman’s body to the top of the water.
Now, glue the orange carrot nose to the middle of the snowman’s head, just above the mouth.
Place the black buttons at the center of the body, just below the mouth.
Take the top hat and glue it to the top of the snowman’s head.
Finally, help your child to draw snowflakes on the background paper.

Materials

Instructions
- Download the snowman template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
- Begin by gluing the water onto the bottom of the colored paper.
