Directions
Download the free cow template, print and cut out the pieces.
Paint some wavy black spots on the white paper plate. These will be the cow’s spots. We chose to make two large spots, but feel free to encourage your child to do whatever they would like to. Let the paper plate dry completely.
While the paper plate is drying, finish the cow’s nose by drawing the nostrils and mouth on the pink oval.
Take the eyes and glue them to the top, middle of the paper plate. Place the completed nose beneath the eyes and glue down.
Place the ear behind the horn and glue together. Repeat this for both sides. Once you’re done with that, tape the ear/horn combo to the top, back of the paper plate.
We’ve found that it’s easiest to use tape on the rounded parts of the paper plate, but you could also use liquid glue or a glue stick. Just make sure you use enough and allow it to dry before handling.
Take a black marker and draw an outline around the cow’s eyes.
Isn’t this cow craft so cute and simple?
