Directions
Start by downloading the pirate chest template and printing it out. Once you have the template printed, gather the materials needed for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this project to life!
First, guide your child to glue the front pieces to the top of the chest.
Next, glue the front pieces to the bottom of the chest.
Now, help your child place the straps on the bottom of the chest and glue them in place.
Position the lock in the center of the bottom piece of the chest and glue it in place.
Next, glue the gold coins above the lock, in the dark brown part of the chest.
Now color the gems and glue them on top of the gold coins.
Finally, encourage your child to glue the top part of the chest over the upper part of the coins.
