Popsicle Stick Arctic Fox Craft [Free Template]

Ready for another fun arctic animal project? This popsicle stick arctic fox craft is a great way to pass the time with your kids on those cold winter days. 

This is one of our favorite winter animal crafts for kids to date. We love that this is a simple project that allows us to spend time as a family together. 

This project combines your kids love of art and crafting into one fun activity. 

We have made it super simple for you to create this arctic fox craft with your kids by using our free printable template. Just download print, and get crafting. 

Whether you are making this popsicle stick project at home or in your winter themed unit in the classroom one thing is for sure, the kids will have an absolute blast crafting together. 

This project is suitable for toddlers, with help from adults, all the way up to second grade. For younger children, they may require a little more help cutting out the smaller pieces.

Simple Arctic Fox Craft For Kids

Supplies

Directions

Download the arctic fox template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

Cut a popsicle stick into thirds. Take 3 glue dots and stretch them along the back of each of the 3 cut popsicle sticks.

Arrange 4 full popsicle sticks together and arrange the cut popsicle sticks along the back on the top, middle, and back.

Flip the popsicle sticks over and paint it in 1-2 thin coats of white paint. Let dry completely before moving on.

Use the gray crayon to draw on the fox’s inner ear. Glue the arctic fox head onto the top of the popsicle stick.

Arrange the outer legs on the bottom of each side of the arctic fox and glue in place.

Place the inner legs in the middle of the body and line up the feet with the bottom of the popsicle sticks.

Finish up by gluing the tail to the back of the popsicle sticks.

  • Popsicle sticks
