First, guide your child to fold a piece of sturdy black paper in half “hamburger style.” Then, place the pot of gold on it so that the flat part lines up perfectly with the fold line. Trace around the pot of gold and carefully cut it out, making sure to leave the flat part uncut.

Next, help your child to glue the top portion to the front and top of the card.

Glue the white insider portion onto the bottom flap.

Now, open up the card and write a special message inside.

Finally, encourage your child to glue all the coins to the top of the pot of gold.
