Have you heard of the turkey in disguise project? Here’s a little background…
The turkey in disguise project takes place during the month of November in the United States and it’s by far one of our favorite school projects. In it, students have to devise clever turkey disguise ideas to save him from being eaten for Thanksgiving.
The disguised turkeys can be anything from their favorite football player or baseball player to Wonder Woman or Captain America (superhero turkeys are always a winner), a ninja turkey, or a beautiful princess! It’s all about using your imagination and having fun with it.
How adorable is that? Not only is this project cute, but it also allows you to connect creatively as a family. And if your kiddos are crazy about turkeys, pilgrims, pumpkins, and costumes, they’re going to love this princess turkey disguise activity.
Aside from encouraging kids to think creatively, this turkey project also improves fine motor skills.
