Download the free printable template and make it from paper or print the rocket out on white paper for the kids to color in.
This rocket activity for kids is great to make with preschoolers, kindergarten, and early elementary children.

Easy Father’s Day Craft

Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Markers or crayons (for color in version)
- Star stickers or gel markers
- Rocket template (enter your email in the form at the end of this post to have the link sent to you)
Directions
Download the rocket template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

Take the fins and glue one on each side of the bottom of the rocket.

Glue the engine to the bottom and back of the rocket.

Glue the window frame in the middle of the words. Next, glue the window in the middle of the frame.


Take the inner flame and glue it to the outer flame, then glue this to the backside of the engine.


Glue the tip of the rocket to the top of the base. Use the scissors to trim off any excess.
Next, glue the rocket to the black piece of paper.

Decorate the paper to look like space. We used gel markers on one and shiny star stickers on the other.

That’s it! Hide it from Dad until the big day; he’s bound to love it!

It's above the comments section, under the heading titled “Rocket Template For Dad". If you're not able to see it, it most likely means you have a firewall or adblocker blocking it from appearing. If you can allow the page or try from a personal device, you should be able to see it. Also, you can open it in an incognito window to see it as well.
