Christmas is right around the corner, and we couldn’t be more excited!!! Christmas is the best time of year, filled with love, hope, and family time.

If you need a fun activity with the kids, this easy Santa headband craft is perfect!

We’re giving you a free printable template in 2 versions that will work for the entire family.

You can use the craft version to make the paper one or the black-and-white version for kids to color in with crayons or markers.

Directions

Start by downloading the template and printing it out. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this Santa Claus to life!

First, guide your child to glue Santa’s face to the back of the headband, like in the picture below.

Place Santa’s mustache just above the headband line and glue it in place.

Position the eyes just above the mustache and glue them in place.

Glue the nose right above the mustache and slightly on the eyes.

Assemble Santa’s hat by gluing the white trim to the base of the red hat, then glue this on the top of Santa’s head.

Next, help your child to take the top of the hat fluff ball and glue it to the end of the hat.

Finally, encourage your child to tape one headband extender on each side of the headband base.

Santa Headband Craft

If you need a fun and easy activity to do with the kids, this easy Santa headband craft is perfect!

Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Tape
  • Santa headband template

Instructions

  • Download the Santa Claus template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin by gluing the Santa's face to the back of the headband, like in the picture.
  • Place Santa's mustache just above the headband line and glue it in place.
  • Position the eyes just above the mustache and glue them in place.
  • Glue the nose right above the mustache and slightly on the eyes.
  • Assemble Santa's hat by gluing the white trim to the base of the red hat, then glue this on the top of Santa's head.
  • Next, take the top of the hat fluff ball and glue it to the end of the hat.
  • Finish off by taping one headband extender on each side of the headband base.
