Lamb Craft
When we think of Easter animals we think of farm animals – namely lambs and sheep! Today, we’re sharing this super simple and cute sheep craft for kids.
Read on below, download our free sheep template, and watch our video tutorial to see how to make this craft with your kids or students!
Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Elmer’s 2X stronger gluestick
- White paint pen
- Scissors
- White pom poms
- Sheep template (click the “click here to get your freebies” image at the end of the post)
Directions
Start by downloading and printing the template. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this sheep to life!

First, guide your child to glue the eyes towards the top of the sheep’s head. Use the white paint pen or white gel marker to draw on the sheep’s nostrils.

Next, glue the small white fluff to the top of the sheep’s head.

Assemble the sheep’s body by gluing the four legs behind the sheep’s body.

Now, help your child to glue the assembled head onto the white body.

Glue the sheep craft onto the background piece of paper.

Cut out a strip of paper 11″ wide and about 1.5″ tall. Use scissors to cut into the paper, leaving the bottom .25″ uncut. This is the grass.

Take the completed grass piece and glue it to the bottom of the paper.

Finally, glue as many pom poms as your child wants around the sheep’s body and head fluff. Make sure to use a strong glue like the Elmer’s 2x glue stick or similiar.
