Spookley The Pumpkin Craft

Spookley will come to life when little hands tear pieces of orange paper and glue them on our template. It’s a simple, engaging project that encourages fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and bilateral hand coordination as they piece Spookley together one rip at a time.

Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Glue stick
- Scissors
- Black marker
- Spookley template (unlock the free template at the end of the post)
Directions
Start by downloading the template and printing it out. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring Spookley to life!
First, guide your child to glue the stem on the top center of the template paper.
Spread the glue over a section of the pumpkin background paper.
Tear the orange paper into small pieces, then glue them onto the background paper. Repeat until the entire pumpkin is covered in paper.
Glue the eyes to the center of the face.
Next, help your child glue the mouth below the eyes.
Position the tongue on the bottom portion of the mouth and glue it in place.
Now, glue the leaf arms on both sides of the body.
Finally, encourage your child to draw the eyebrows above the eyes.
