Old Lady Turkey Craft Idea
While kids make this craft, they can recall all the different things the old lady swallowed. They’ll work on fine motor skills, scissor skills, and following instructions when they complete this fun craft, too!
A few basic crafting supplies combined with our free template will easily bring the Old Lady to life. Keep reading below for everything you’ll need plus our step-by-step instructions.
Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Markers
- Old Lady Who Swallowed A Turkey template (enter your email in the form at the end of this post to get the template)

Directions
Download the template, print it, and cut out the pieces.

Begin by gluing the hair to the top of the old lady’s head.

Take the eyes and glue them on both sides of the face, just above the undereye wrinkles.

Next, take the eyebrows and glue them just above the eyes.

Glue the mouth in the middle of the lower portion of the face.

Color in the turkey and then glue him in the middle of the old lady’s mouth.

Place the head at the top of the shirt and glue it down.

Position the hands so they’re holding the turkey and glue them in place.

Next, glue the old lady’s hair tie on the lower part of her hair bun.

Optionally: glue the sleeves to the end of the arms.
