Valentine’s Day is nearly here! And kids are getting ready for the big day. Whether they’re making valentines or doing a craft, kids will be excited to celebrate with their friends and classmates.
This tiger Valentine craft is great because it’s fun and creative, while also being easy enough for kids to make.
All you need are some construction paper, a glue stick, scissors, and markers or crayons. The kids can cut out shapes from the construction paper and make them into cute little tigers that they can give away to someone special!
It’s a fantastic way to get kids thinking creatively about Valentine’s Day.

Valentines Day Tiger

Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- Markers or crayons

Directions
Download the tiger template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
Begin by using a crayon or marker to draw the stripes all around the tiger’s body and on its hands.
Place the inner ears in the middle of the outer ears and glue them in place.
Next, glue the nose and mouth in the middle of the head, just above the neck.
Take the eyes and glue them above the nose, one on each side of the head.
Glue the cheeks just below the eyes and on either side of the nose.
Position the heart in the middle of the tiger’s body and glue it in place.
Use a marker to draw on the tiger’s footpads on the feet.
Take the feet and glue them slightly angled outward near the bottom of the tiger’s body.
Finish off by gluing the arms, one on each side, to the side of the heart.
