Apple Tissue Paper Craft

Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Tissue paper squares
- Glue
- Scissors
- Apple template (click the “click here to get this freebie” image at the end to open the form)
Directions
Start by downloading the apple template and printing it out. Once you have the template printed, gather the materials needed for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this apple to life!

First, encourage your child to cover a section of the apple with glue, then crumple the tissue paper pieces and place them on the glue. Repeat until the apple is completely covered.

Take the stem and glue it to the top, middle part of the apple, where it dips down.

Next, guide your child to glue the eyes in the middle of the apple.

Create the mouth by gluing the tongue to the mouth.

Glue the completed mouth in the middle of the apple, below the eyes.

Finally, help your child to glue the cheeks on either side of the mouth.
