Directions
Start by downloading and printing the template. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this gingerbread to life!

First, guide your child to spread the glue over a whole section of gingerbread background paper.

Next, start tearing different shades of brown paper into small pieces. Then, begin gluing them on all parts of the gingerbread’s body.

Now, help your child to create the gingerbread boy by gluing the bowtie to his neck.

Place the gingerbread’s mouth just above the bowtie using glue. If you’re making a gingerbread girl, you’ll need to glue the icing hair on first and then glue the bow to the icing.

Glue both eyes just above the mouth.

Use markers to draw sprinkles on the hair. Then glue the hair to the top of the gingerbread’s head.

Position the buttons in the middle of the gingerbread’s body and glue it down.

Finally, encourage your child to glue the icing decorations on the arms and legs.
