This cute and simple handprint lion craft is an easy project to do with toddlers, preschool and kindergarten children.

This easy lion craft is great to do when children are learning about the letter L, zoo animals or even at Sunday school for a Daniel and the lions den craft.

Lined Circle

Materials

– Colored cardstock or construction paper – Markers – Glue stick – Lion template

Tools

– Scissors

Instructions

1. Download the lion template, print and cut out the pieces.

2. Use an orange or brown marker to draw lines all along the mane that reaches the center of the circle.

3. Take the lion's face and glue it to the middle of the mane.

4. Trace your child's hand onto the yellow-orange piece of paper and cut it out. Attach the completed lion's face onto the thumb area of the handprint, like in the picture below.
