Read our simple directions below or watch our step by step video tutorial to learn exactly how to make this cute owl handprint craft with your kids or students.

Download the snowy owl craft template, print and cut out the pieces.

Place the white owl face at the top of the owl body and glue in place.

Glue the owl’s beak so it’s halfway on the face and halfway on the body.

Make the owl’s eyes by gluing the black circle onto the larger yellow circles.

Place the completed eyes in the middle of the owl’s white face and glue down.

Glue the owl’s feet at the bottom of the owl’s body, letting half of the feet hang over the bottom of the body.

Trace your child’s right and left hands on the gray card stock and cut out. Place your child’s handprints, one on each side, with the thumbs pointed up on each side of the owl body and secure with glue.

Isn’t that such a simple and cute winter keepsake craft?!
