Paper Plate Hedgehog Craft  For Kids

Looking for a cute fall animal project for the kids to make? This paper plate hedgehog craft is perfect! It’s a bit of a spin on the traditional paper plate crafts for kids and the kids will love it.

Materials

– Paper plates – Brown paint – Paint brush – Pencil – Colored paper (in tan/light    brown, pink, white and    black) – Scissors – Glue stick – Hedgehog template (download form located at the end of this post)

Instructions

1. Download the hedgehog template, print and cut out the pieces.

2. Paint a paper plate in a thin coat of brown paint and let dry completely. Once the paper plate is dry, place the quill outline on the paper plate, trace and cut it out.

3.  Place the paper plate quill on top of the hedgehog body, like in the picture. Glue in place.

4. Position the eye just above and to the right of the hedgehog’s smile and glue down. Glue the pink cheek below the eye.

5. Glue the little black nose to the tip of the hedgehog face.
