Rocket Popsicle Stick Craft For Kids [Free Template]

Kids love space and crafting so why not add the two together and make this fun rocket popsicle stick craft!

This is one of our favorite rocket activities for kids that’s a little bit different than the standard paper crafting.

Supplies

– Popsicle sticks – Scissors – Glue dots – Glue – Paint (we use acrylic paint) – Paintbrush – Colored cardstock or construction paper – Rocket template

Download the rocket template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

Take 2 popsicle sticks and cut them into 2″ lengths. Line up 5 popsicle sticks to form a rectangle, then using the glue dots, attach the cut popsicle sticks onto the top, middle, and bottom of the rectangle.

Paint the popsicle sticks in 1-2 thin coats of paint. Let dry completely before moving on.

Begin to glue the rocket together by gluing the tip to the top of the rocket.

Next, create the windows by gluing the window to the window frames. Take the completed windows in glue them in the middle of the rocket.
