It’s that time of year again: the kids are out of school, and parents everywhere are scrambling to come up with ways to keep them entertained.

That’s why we love this shark handprint craft. It’s a great way to keep kids entertained while also working on their fine motor skills.

Supplies

– Colored cardstock or construction paper – Scissors – Glue – Pencil – Shark template

Download the shark template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

Begin to make the shark by gluing the belly to the bottom of the shark’s body.

Take the eyes and glue them above the mouth, on the body piece.

Next, take the side fin and glue it pointy side down near the bottom of the shark’s body.

Use a pencil to trace your child’s hand onto a piece of blue paper, then cut it out.
