This is a fun and safe way for kids to decorate their own pumpkins, and it also makes for an adorable Halloween decoration to hang up!

You’ll just need a few basic supplies to bring this witchy pumpkin to life! With the step-by-step instructions below and our free template, you’ll be able to pull off this fun craft without a hitch.

Supplies

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Witch template (enter your email in the form at the end of this post to get the template)

Directions

Download the witch pumpkin template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

Start by gluing the eyes to the inside of each eyelashes.

Place the top hair piece on the top of the pumpkin and glue it in place.

Next, take the pigtails pieces and glue them to the back and sides of pumpkin.

Glue the witch hat stem piece on the top of hair, in the middle of the pumpkin, and glue it in place.

Finish up by gluing the hat band to the base of the hat.
