Humpback Whale Headband Craft

If your kiddo or students are learning about whales, then this humpback whale headband craft is the perfect activity to do when you’re done!

It’s an easy whale craft for kids that also comes with a free printable template.

Materials

– Colored cardstock or construction paper – Scissors – Tape – Glue – Markers – Humpback whale template

Instructions

Download the humpback whale template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

Take the eyes and glue them just above and outside the whale’s smile.

Position the whale’s cheek just below the eye and glue them in place.

Use a grayish blue marker to draw curved lines along the belly. Next, glue the completed belly just below the mouth.

Use a dark blue marker to draw spots along the top side of the whales’ head.

Tape a headband extender on each side of the base of the headband.

Finish off by taping the whale’s fluke to the back, inside of the headband.
