While you probably don’t want to meet a jellyfish while swimming in the ocean, they really are some pretty amazing creatures!

When we think of summer, we think of the beach and jellyfish. This jellyfish paper plate craft is a fun activity to do with the kids this summer.

Materials

– Paper plate – Paint – Paintbrush – Pencil – Colored cardstock or    construction paper – Black marker – Glue – Tape – Scissors – Jellyfish template

Instructions

1. Download the jellyfish template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

2. Paint a small section on the bottom of the paper plate in a lighter shade of the main jellyfish color. Paint the rest of the paper plate in a darker shade.

3. Trace the 2 jellyfish body parts on the upper and lower part of the paper plate and then cut them out.

4. Flip the 2 pieces over and slightly overlap the lower body part onto the bottom of the main body part.
