Jellyfish Paper  Plate Craft For Kids [Free Template]

While you probably don’t want to meet a jellyfish while swimming in the ocean, they really are some pretty amazing creatures!

It’s another one of our fun jellyfish activities that’s ideal for making with preschoolers, kindergarten, and elementary children.


– Paper plate – Paint – Paintbrush – Pencil – Colored cardstock or construction paper – Black marker – Glue – Tape – Scissors – Jellyfish template

Download the jellyfish template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

Paint a small section on the bottom of the paper plate in a lighter shade of the main jellyfish color.

Trace the 2 jellyfish body parts on the upper and lower part of the paper plate and then cut them out.

Flip the 2 pieces over and slightly overlap the lower body part onto the bottom of the main body part.

Flip the jellyfish back over and glue the eyes in the middle of the main body piece.
