Next, cut along the outline and then cut out the extender pieces.

Once the pieces are cut out, attach the extender pieces to each side of the pirate hat base, with either tape or staples.

Then once it’s all attached, wrap it around your child’s head to determine the size they need and tape, staple, or use a paper clip to make it in the correct size.
