Penguins are fascinating creatures, and your little ones will love to learn about them by making a fun yarn penguin craft!

This winter your kids can dive into the icy waters of the Antarctic with these charming birds through this fun and engaging craft project.

Supplies

– Thin cardboard like from a cereal or tissue box – Black paint – Paintbrush – Black yarn – Tape – Colored cardstock or construction paper – Scissors – Glue – Penguin Template

Download the penguin template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

Use the template to trace the penguin’s body onto the thin cardboard. Use scissors to cut it out. Paint it black and let dry completely before moving on.

Tape one end of the yarn to the back of the penguin. Wrap the yarn around as many times as you’d like.

Take the eyes and glue them to the top part of the penguin’s body.

Next, glue the beak in between the eyes.
