Materials

  • Colored cardstock
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Crab template

Instructions

  • Download the crab template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin to make the crab by gluing the eye stalks to the back and top of the circle body.
  • Take the claws and glue them on either side of the body, on the backside.
  • Next, glue 3 legs to each side of the back of the body, underneath the claw. Repeat for the other side.
  • Place the crab onto a colored piece of paper and glue it in the middle.
  • Create the 3D belly of the crab by taking one of the strips of paper. Fold about 1/2 an inch of one end, put glue on it, and glue it to one end of the circle body. Lightly pull the stip to the opposite side of the circle, measure how much you need to fold over the other side, do that, then glue it down. Repeat this process until the belly is as full as you want it.
