Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Star stickers
  • 4th of July Rocket Template

Instructions

  • Print the template and gather the materials for this fun activity.
  • Begin by gluing the tip of the rocket to the top of the rocket.
  • Line up the stripes on the lower section of the rocket and glue them in place.
  • Glue the base of the rocket to the back and bottom of the rocket.
  • Look for the eyes and glue them onto the rocket above the smile.
  • Glue the side fins to the back and sides of the rocket.
  • Take the front fin and glue it to the center of the rocket.
  • Line up the inner flame to the top of the outer flame and glue it in place.
  • Glue the flame to the back and bottom of the rocket.
  • Place the rocket onto the background paper and glue it down.
  • Glue the outer clouds to the bottom corners of the background.
  • Line up the inner clouds on top of the outer clouds and glue them in place.
  • Finally, place the star sticker on the top of the rocket.
