Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Tissue Paper Squares

Instructions

  • Download the template, print it, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin by gluing the dark brown tissue paper onto the top section of the acorn base to form the cap.
  • Next, glue the tan tissue paper onto the lower section of the acorn base to complete the body.
  • Then glue the eyes near the top center of the acorn base.
  • After that, glue the mouth underneath the eyes.
  • Next, glue the tongue at the bottom curve of the mouth cutout.
  • Finally, glue the cheeks under the eyes to complete the face.
