Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • American Eagle Handprint Template

Instructions

  • Print the template and gather the materials for this fun activity.
  • Begin by gluing the beak to the left side of the eagle’s head, just beside the eye.
  • Glue the cheek piece below and slightly to the right of the eye.
  • Look for the completed head and glue it to the top of the body.
  • Glue the tail feathers to the back, lower right side of the body so they extend from behind the eagle.
  • Glue the feet to the backside of each leg.
  • Finally, trace your child’s hand twice, cut out both handprints, and glue one wing to each side of the body.
