Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Marker
  • Pipe Cleaners
  • Tape
  • Angel Template

Instructions

  • Download the template, print it, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin by gluing the eyes onto the angel's head, below the eyelashes for girls and on both sides of the nose for boys.
  • Next up is the hair. For boys, glue the hair to the front and top of the head. For girls, glue the bangs to the front and top of the head. The main hair piece will be glued on later.
  • Glue the robe piece right onto the bottom of the neck.
  • Now, glue the hands to the center of the robe and to the ends of the armholes.
  • For girl angels, glue the main hair piece to the back and top of the head. For boy angels, skip to the next step.
  • Next, use a marker to color two cheeks on both sides of the smile.
  • Now, glue the wing pieces to the back of the body so they peek out evenly on each side.
  • Take a pipe cleaner and form one end into a loop. Twist it around the base of the pipe cleaner to form the halo. Cut off the end so only a few inches remain.
  • Finally, tape the pipe cleaner halo to the back and top of the angel’s head.
