This Angel Shape Craft helps children learn about the Nativity story while building an angel using simple shapes like circles, triangles, rectangles, ovals, and squares in a fun, hands-on way.

Materials
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Pipe Cleaner
- Marker
- Tape
- Angel Template
Instructions
- Download the template, print it, and cut out the pieces you need.
- Begin by gluing the eyes onto the head, just below the eyelashes.
- Next, make tiny snips along the lower edge of the oval bangs piece to create bangs.
- Glue the bangs to the top of the head.
- Make small snips along the bottom edge of the rectangular hair piece to give the hair some dimension. Set aside for later.
- Take the head and glue it to the top of the triangle robe.
- Now, glue the rectangular hair piece that you set to the side behind the head.
- Next, use a marker to lightly add two cheek circles and one small circle for the nose.
- Continue by gluing the two small rectangular hands to the arm lines on the robe.
- Glue the rectangular legs to the bottom and back of the triangle robe.
- Next, layer the three oval wing pieces together with glue to create the wings.
- Glue the completed wings to the back of the angel.
- Bend a pipe cleaner into a circle to form the halo, leaving a small stem at the bottom. Cut off the excess pipe cleaner.
- Finish by taping the halo stem to the back and top of the angel’s head.
