  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Paint optional to decorate the feathers
  • Star glitter optional to decorate the feathers
  • Astronaut Turkey template

Instructions

  • Download the astronaut template, print it, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin by gluing the helmet border piece in the middle of the head.
  • Take the face and glue it to the middle of the helmet border piece.
  • Next glue the eyes on the face, just below the eyebrows.
  • Place the snood in the middle of the head, just below the eyes, and glue it in place.
  • Glue the beak on top of the snood.
  • Glue the helmet rotators to the back and each side of the helmet.
  • Now glue the feet to the bottom part of the body.
  • Optionally, decorate the feathers to resemble space by gently tapping a paintbrush with slightly watered-down paint and gluing star glitter onto them.
  • Finish up by gluing the body to the middle of the feather.
