Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Pipe Cleaner
  • Tape
  • Markers
  • Basketball Father's Day Template

Instructions

  • Print the template and gather the materials for this fun activity.
  • Begin by gluing the eye pieces onto the basketball, below the eyebrows.
  • Color in the mouth piece and glue it below the eyes.
  • Grab the cheek pieces and glue on both sides of the mouth.
  • Glue the foam finger to the right side of the basketball.
  • For thicker limbs, like ours, fold the pipe cleaner in half before making the arms and legs. Bend the pipe cleaners to create the arms and legs.
  • Flip the basketball over and glue the arms to the back and sides. Bend the left arm so it's pointing outward and the right arm in a "V" shape.
  • Color in the shoe pieces, then flip them over and tape them to the bottom of the pipe cleaner legs.
  • Finish by taping the legs to the back and middle of the basketball.
