This bat card craft has kids creating a unique card that can be sent to someone special to wish them a Happy Halloween or used as a charming decoration for the holiday festivities.

Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Bat template

Instructions

  • Download the bat template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Fold the card base along the dashed line and cut out the bat body, leaving the top part uncut.
  • Take the eyes and glue them underneath both of the eyebrows.

  • Place the outer ears on the top and back of the bat's head and glue them down.
  • Next, take the inner ears and glue them in the middle of both outer ears.

  • Position the belly in the middle and bottom of the bat's body.
  • Glue the wings to the back and middle of both sides of the bat's body.
  • Open the card and write a fun message inside!
