Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Glue stick
  • Scissors
  • Bat template

Instructions

  • Download the bat template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin to create the bat by gluing the inner ears to the bat's outer ears.
  • Next, take the eyes and glue them a little below the ears.
  • Place the nose in between the eyes and glue it in place.
  • Take the vampire bat teeth and glue them just below the nose. If your bat is light colored you can use a black marker to draw on a smile as well. For the black one, we left it off, but you can see what we mean by the purple version.
  • Glue a foot on both of the bottom corners of the body.
  • Finish off the vampire bat by gluing the wings to the back of the bat's body.
