This adorable bear craft is a fun preschool activity that helps kids practice spelling and recognizing the letters in their names.

Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Crayola Bold & Bright markers
  • Bear name template

Instructions

  • Print the template and gather the materials for this fun activity.
  • Begin by gluing the eye pieces onto the bear's face, below the eyebrows.
  • Glue the nose and mouth piece below the eyes.
  • Use a pink Crayola Bold & Bright marker to draw the cheeks on both sides of the nose and mouth.
  • Glue one foot piece to each side at the bottom of the bear’s body.
  • Arrange the blueberry letters in order to spell the child’s name, and glue them together.
  • Take the glued blueberry name and glue it to the middle of the bear's belly.
  • Finally, glue the arm pieces to both sides of the neck so the bear looks like it is holding the blueberries.
